as the topic states. if so how did you mount it and where? saw one somewhere but cant find it anymore. tried search and couldnt find anything. thanks for any help given.

No one makes an aftermarket fan kit for the 400ex that I know of, but there was a thread a while back that had info on how to mount a couple of computer fans on the back side of the 400's oil cooler.

There is a manufacturer that makes a larger (oem-style) cooler for the 400ex as well as a tempreture guage kit and an aftermarket FAN kit. I believe mike at fdo has his information.
I have his # on my pc at work if you can't find it...
