why do brake pads...

for a quad cost more than a cars brake pads?i don't get it? the dealer in my area wanted 35 per wheel for front pads :confused: do they try to get rich on every item they sell? what bullsh*t!:mad:

I bought these brake pads [full matalic!!] of e-bay for like $35 shiped[TWO SETS!!] & they seem to be working great!! go to e-bay & type in [400ex brakes] they are the brakes that are listed for $28.95 ....hope this helps...;)

yeah, i know e bay has them cheaper .........just complaining about sorry ***** dealers!and expensive aftermarket prices!

Yeah they are expensive. Be glad you don't live in Belgium, the prices here are about double of yours.

(example, 2 axle bearings + seals are about $125 so go figure....not to mention the more expensive parts like A-arms or motor-related stuff.....)
