is it me or has any1 elese noticed that all the bigger companies are still using carbs y dont they step it up like cannondale
and now even gas gas is using fuel injection ...i kno the big 4 could do it so y stay with old technology ?

I've kinda wondered this myself too. I know quite a few racers stated that they like carbs better because they can "fine tune" it a little better, but I don't know.

A carb can potentially make more horsepower for less, why do you think 1/4 miles vehicles don't use EFI????

The REAL fast 1/4 milers DO use injection, of course they also use nitromethane and blowers. :D

actually i was readin the new drag cars of the future will be EFI 4 clyinder motors... they already have them doin 275mph in the quater mile... they have no cooling either... its a all aluminum motor with really thick walls and that does the cooling... it was really cool to see...

I saw something on TV about the guy who is pushing for this. Most people think that it will never happen, but you never know.

well i dono y they would use carbs because they dont have as good throttle responce as efi and i kno lazy *** honda could do it if they wanted to ...its like they dont wanna do good or something ..i dono maybe its just me they need to step it up a notch
