Photoshop learning

i just downloaded the trial verson, and im testing it out, it is the weirdest program ive even been on, seriously, because i have no knowledge of it, and plain and simple if like to know how to. is there any course online you can take (free) and or will someone teach me how to make things different colors? and transparent colors?

because i just spent an hour trying to figure this thing out and damn, i have to say anyone like shift_DVS or striker has skill

There's this tool that I love to use called the magic wand... it is a selection tool and u can change the tolerance levels to determine how much u want to select. ALso there is the quick mask tool. After you have that selected... u can go to the top toolbar and find where it says adjust and go to that and then selective color.... u can change the colors like everyone else does :)

i have photoshop and its a challenging program to get used 2 but its fun and some of the stuff you can do is deff worth the wait it takes to get used 2 it

Ya, it does take some time and patience. I don't use it much unless someone asks for something... Once you know how to use it you can do some stuff pretty fast :D
