Yamaha is releasing the 04 YZF's (the bikes) w/ titanium headers. Or atleast I know they are releasing the 250F w/ the ti headers. No big thing really, just lighter I guess.

Don't be suprised to see a factory Yamaha racing team next year. All those ad's showing the quad on the track is a good sign and ofcourse when I talked to Allen Parr, he told me his brother (Bobby Parr, who is the defending Pike Peaks winner and kind of a hometown guy around here) got full fledged factory support from Yamaha. He didn't say what kind of racing it was for but I imagine it was for the Pikes Peak race since that's obviously what Bobby is best at. It may be a different kind of racing, but it is still factory support for a quad racer. I imagine they have already talked to a couple GNCC and GNC racers but you wouldn't hear about that yet cause they won't ever release any big info like that until it was all settled and done.

Even though I'm on bikes now, I'm glad to see the quad guys getting some help out there.

Actually being good friends with JBracing and Baldwin Motorsports i talked to them about this bike. Both Jody and Mark agreed that the subframe is the thing that may have some problems. They think that the bolt holes are to close together and that it will be stronger then the frame. Thus causing the whole *** end off the quad to be ripped off when you wreck. Doesn't sound like to much fun. They both still think it will be a real badass bike.
