this is JR Hinds, Hes 16 and he rides a Hetrick/JB 90cc Modified.... That thing flys.... any way this is a pic of him in Casey.Il over the weekend, he was flying about as far as the pros.... well there it is, have fun..

Jr. is a fast lil *******!! he raced us one day at our local track they ran him with the big boys... of course we killed him off the line but about the second lap he was weaving in and out between us like he was on a friggin freeway passing cars...one guy tried to keep up with him but gave up to damm fast.

That's my Buddy JR :) I talked to him once he got home after it.... he said he broke his axle or something but i dont know if it was from doin that jump or not... crazy kid but a total sweetie :)

Yes he was hucking the big triple.
He was in second, the kid he was following was doing it too.
He broke his axle in the first moto doing it.

Everybody was pretty worried for a while, but he evidently didn't get hurt.

In the second moto neither of the boys did it until the last lap, then they both busted it.

It is 100' to really get to the downslope, so I'm sure they were getting close to that. The way the jump is set up, its basically a flat landing, but no peaks to clear or anything if you come up short.

how much does it cost to build a little bike like that... ??? i would love to put around on one of those, maybe even enter a race on one, in the class i race in now, maybe i will do better...

I don't know about the axle, but from what I've heard from Hetrick's those little quads cost around $20,000 to build.:eek: :confused2 I guess that's possible, since thay are hand built!

I was there when he broke that axle. He didn't even know it was broke untell he turned and tried to go up to that timing section.

That kid can fly. There was more talk about him in the pits then the pro's!

i wouldnt want one to put around on thats prob as fast as a stock 400ex

the axle was a titanium custom built jobber...they usually dont break!
the 90 mods are like 14000 for top of the line everything! thats with the ZPS and stuff...
that mod is as fast as a fully built 440 man.... we can beat stock 400ex's with our kaseas!!! hahah
JR can beat my friend and I both here at the locals...
Give my nephew Joel a few years and he will be scary...hes only 10 and he got 4th out of 7 in 250B at a local race here on his 70 :)
