I just bought this pipe and plan on running it with the factory recomended 12 discs and a Uni filter. I ride at 0 to 1000 elevation. I was wanting opinions on what size jets to run?

A 40pj and a 155mj should do the trick.:)

thanks guys, that's where I was kinda heading. Possibly move the needle and run a 158mj and 40pj. I'm waiting to put another trip or 2 on it before doing the pipe and jets. It's barly got 10 hours on it and this motor is tight! What kind of oil are you guys running?

Moving the clip on the needle down one notch is a good idea.

I run Honda GN-4 10-40 in the winter and 20-50 in the summer. Over 30mos of hard riding w/o any problems whatsoever.:)

I was thinking of going to a heaver weight oil because I'm always riding in 65 to 100 degree weather. This 400 seem to be running hot, But I just keep reminding myself this is not my old 88 trx250R. I hope I'll have the same luck as you do with your bike. I know, I should be fine. It's a Honda!
