I've done alot of research, but I don't have a ton of experience, especially "seat of the pants"
I'm going from a 250r with slightly higher compression and a pipe (40 HP?) to a Duncan Racing 340cc powervalve and 38mm Air Striker carb (60 HP?) so I also want to gear it down considerably.
If stock gearing is 13/38, then I'm leaning towards 14/36. Should I go more or less? I'll obviously have more top end with this gearing, do you think I'll lose acceleration? or is it possible that I will still be under-geared?
