Well since im going to start racing soon (probably next year :ermm: ) I want to be in the best shape as possible. Right now I don't think i'll even last a whole harescramble :scary: . What do you guys do to stay in good shape for racing?

work on your bike a little, run alot, ride even more!!!!

i cut down to like a pack every 2 days and i only get drunk during the week now.I call it storing carbs.

in all seriousness, training helps a little, but seat time adds up quick. Once u race a few years you'll start to be able to ride an hour. Being able to ride it 100% is another story.

If u do nothing else!!!!!! at least get your heart rate up at least 3 times a week and keep it up for 1 hour, walking,basketball,cutting grass, sex!!!! All it takes is an increase in heart rate a few times a week, then your body doesnot go into shock and get taken by surprise when u go racing. That pounding heart beat u here when your holding in a big bong rip does not qualify as increasing your rate. As far as training, push ups and jumping jacks, thats all, period!!!!!!!!!! 10 minutes a night!!!!!!!

Thanks for the info! I have been drinking nothing but water now, occasionally milk. I need to do alot more running now!

I lift weights 3x a week, do cardio 5 times a week, and diet. I do alot of squats and deadlifts best all around workout.
