Air/Fuel mixture screw?

What is the stock setting of this air/fuel mixture screw? I know you need to turn it all the way in and count how many times you turn it out. Should you do this while the engine is running? I have a little bit of backfiring at start up when cold, messed with it a little and made it worse. need to get it back to the stock setting and go from there. Snow on the way and going riding tomorrow, need help!

Turn the screw in all the way until it just seats. Then screw it out 2 1/4 turns. That should work fine for ya!

If I were u I'd look into putting in a 40 or I prefer a 42 pilot jet.
