Honda 450 or Yam. 450 which is better motor?

For all of you guys that follow dirt bikes (I don't) - which motor out-performs the other. I have been told honda's 450 is stronger, but was wanting to know what you guys thought?

P.S. I guess it doesn't really matter because Honda hasn't got off ther asses and made one yet. Hopefully this new Yamaha will make them see the light. I hear that it's comming & I hear that it's not. I have been very loyal to Honda over the years, but it's getting hard to wait if you all know what I mean.

i like the YZ better its truthfully your personal preference both motors are good the honda is easier to ride but the yamaha provides more of a SNAP!! and more of a rush in my opinion !!

i have rode both i like them both the honda is more bottom end than the yamaha but i think i like the honda a little better.

did you ride the yzf450 or yzf426? cause a friend of mine's yzf450 has tons more of torque then another friend of mines crf450. i'd definately go with the YZF450 over the CRF. its mainly personal preference. ive always been a yamaha guy myself though :eek2:
