huffy made the frame, e tec the company that made the eraser, and gas gas helpe design the plastic, yamaha slapped some raptor lights on and threw in a power ful engine, or thats what it looks like:eek2:

I dont think this thing is going to suck as bad as you say it will !! im sorry to say this but honda has been a let down for quite sometime !!(ok a really really long time) !! that frame is a complete new design and from the looks of it YAMAHA did thier homework this time ! this thing is going to SMOKE some arse !! i think some people are just too afraid to admit yamaha built something worth having !!

I think it looks pretty good. Honda has about 8 months(just my personal deadline), or I will have one of those Yamaha's in my garage. Barring any major problems.

they are ugly but should rip i talked with a dealer yesterday and asked he said msrv is set at 6000 so your looking at 6500+ after taxes ect

I don't care how awsome this thing is supossed to be it is still a yahmaha,I will never own one.Say what you want about Honda but I can bet you that when the new Honda comes there will alot of these bad yahmahas on the for sale market.JMO

Say what you want, but the 400ex is STILL at the bottom of the ATV food chain! I was tired of waiting for HONDA to catch up 2 years ago! I love Honda machines, but they are getting their butts kicked:eek2: and have been for awhile now!

Honda is prolly trying to find a way to fit 2 more wheels on their new scooters . Sorry , but Honda has just been too slow at producing new models . They are going to lose a lot of customers because of this . But then again , this is just my $0.02

I don't know were you get your info from but the 400 is still up in the food chain.I still see the 400 on the podium as a matter of fact had a race Sunday(XC) had a Suzuki,Banshee,V-twin,Raptor etc...The Banshee stayed with me for about the first mile or so after that I never heard from hin again.First in the woods first out.I still love my 400 and I know that I'm not riding it to it's full potentaul!!!All of you that turn from the red I'll wait for you at the finish line to see if you made it.(Just remember how the raptor was suposed to be the end of Honda,I still get a kick out of passing that thing.)I will wait my 400 hasn't let me down and I don't expect she will.

Exactly, if honda would of released a crf you know yamaha would of made theres better than honda and we would be stuck with the slower crf and they would have the faster yzf but since honda waited for all the competition to release their models now they can make the best and not have to worry about any competition from yamaha, suzuki and polaris.
