330ex vs. 350x

ok i have a 300ex engine now but was gonna put a 330 kit in it, but i can also get a 350x engine..which one would be the best race engine and produce more horsepower? also is there alot of engine parts available for the 350x?

..look around a cam builder's website..and wiesco, if they have parts, then they most likely have hi-perf parts too.

i heard u can use a 400ex exhaust..is that tru?

Yup go wit the 350x because the 300 bored out to a 330 is prob. as far as u would want to go wit the reliablity but the 350 is already bigger than that and u can bore it to 400 and run wit anythin

Truthfully the 350x will smoke the 300ex motor. I myself am converting my 250x to a 350x motor. Having the motor built as we speak. The engine builder, "Mummz the Word Performance Motorsports" out of Cedar Rapids, Iowa acutally is a true believer in the 350x and loves this kind of conversion. Go with the 350x, might cost a little more, but its worth it.

yulp a modded 400ex head pipe will work....(i don't know what needs to be moded,)..(might just need to be bent a little..maybe cut a little)

i'm not sure what slip on you need...prolly one for a 350x. or 400 would work.

also use the 400ex , or 350x carb..and 350x air boot.
might as well got the 350x swingarm, and add +1, and that'll make that 400ex plastic look right...entire 350x rear end will bolt right up, and be +1 longer, and +2 wider.

get 400 or 250 arms...creat the hybrid monster i've been thinkin' about

yeah im gettin ready to get the 400 front end..i'll probably do the 350x rearend in a few months..does anyone know what has to be done to the 400ex headpipe to make it work? i really wanna get a TC pipe thats why i wanna use the 400ex pipe

Places that I know have 350x bore kits and stuff is powroll and ProFab atv. I emailed ProFab atv and said that I really didnt want nothing too big and he recommended this

I saw a 350x in a 300ex frame and body bored up to a 450x can u belive that ill tell u that thing is smoken a nacs banshee up where i live the 350x engines r so awsome and a Tc racing pipe would be an exellent choise for it
