44mm ??

woluld a 44mm mikuni be to much carb for a 400 with a hotcams stage 1 and all the normal ex mods.

the only reason i ask is i happend to come across one
i just don't want to go through with all the bs and be screwed.

i think a 44 is a little too big. Most 440's run a 41.

44mm would be way to big with nothing done to the motor

I don't think really build a ex motor that would need such a big carb. even the 500cc motors arn't running thats big. I would thing it you were making a big bore/ stroker motor built for topend maybe you could uses the carb. But you would lose alot of lowend with it.
