Here is a houser swingarm i picked up, Here are some pics in the stripping process. there is a crack in the lower rail that was welded. Ill post some pics of it powder coated tommorow.

I guess we'll se how it turns out. Its a pain stripping it (4 layers) Silvervein, clear powder, red paint, then orange paint. I'll hit it with the bead blaster again in the mourning.

You should have just sand or bead blasted it. It isn't very expensive and works great!

You have never tried to sand blast powder coat have ya? I started off beadblasting it last night, It took most of the paint of but didnt effect the powder under it at all. So then i brung it back home to put some paint stripper on it to soften the powder up. When i go blast it again here in a hour or so it should come off a lot easier.

Well I guess I haven't:D I thought that since it works with paint good it should do good on powder coating but I guess the PC is a little tuffer. Oops!

Thats why powdercoating works so good it dont come off. ;)

Well no bling pics today, I tied blasting it more and putting more stripper on it back and forth and that dang stuff wont come off, so i took it to a near by business called Decoat and there going to bake the powder off. So now i wont get it back till thursday i hopefully i can get it done by next week.
