i am having problems with my 400ex clutch cable being melted between my LRD headers. dose anyone have any suggestions as to re-rout the cable, or solve this problem. i have gone through 5 cab;es all ready!!!!!!!!!

do you have the cable running between the two pipes like stock?
run it straight to the right of the steering stem and bend that little bracket on the top of the motor mount so it wont ever hit again

run it infront of the head pipe and go to the auto store buy some muffler repair kit and use the heat sheild tape in it and wrap it arround the cable just to be sure it wont melt.

do what Muff said to do, unless u don't mind having that junk wrapped around the cable.

that wrap, people put on, it helps a little, but it also holds heat more, and will still damage the cable after a few rides. it does work though.

that is what lrd sold him a longer cable runs down the frame rail
