The dyno jet kits usually some with richer jets and needles to accomodate modified engines.

All I know is that they are not the same. What are you trying to do?

long story short...had to put factory exhaust back on for a few weeks. still have factory main jet, but also have all the jets that come with the dyno jet kit. I am wondering what jet i should run, the factory 148 or one of the dynojets...still not running an airbox lid and have a K&N

There is a tool for measuring plug gaps, it's not a flat feeler guage but a wire guage. I have/had one somewhere.....I really should look for it:rolleyes: I think it might work to measure the inside diameter of the jets but I only have Kehien jets so I wont be able to compare them to Dyno jets:(

remember the dyno-jets are designed to run with the dynojet needle.. The needle is tapered different compared to stock jets.. just an FYI

exactly......being that the needle may be a little thicker, the jet itself would have to be a little bigger (dyno jet), even though the in comparison to one another, they are physically different sizes, numerically they are the same(needle and jet).......  ...OK, now I confused myself. Really, that's how it is, just kind of hard to explain.:eek2:
