Beach Riding

In the past, I never ever considered riding my quad on or near a saltwater beach but I discovered this sweet riding area that requires me to traverse a beach to access it. I know rididng on a saltwater beach is hell as far as rust goes. What is the best way to clean my quad after riding on a saltwater beach. Rinse with fresh water? Soap and water? Immediately after? And what is the best way to clean sand out of the chain? THX, Phatty.

oh man i would never ride though salt water, even at Pismo. But if you have too. I mean right after you are done, tons of fresh water and wd-40 everything on that quad that is metal.
When I go to Pismo I never ride the water just the sand but the mist is bad enough. Just remember to wd-40 eveything
