Deff worth the money. Lighter than Alum Beads for the most part and if you break one part you can replace it and you dont have to buy a hole new wheel.

You can't bend them. Impossible!!!

And they aren't having the sealing problems that the aluminums sometimes do...

I don't have any personal experience with them but I do like the Idea of replacing what is broke rather than the whole rim and they will not bend.. I guess maybe the only con would be if you like a polished look over the black

hey Nausty

What size are those rims and are they single or double locks?

What did it run you for all 4 ?

the rear are 9x9 and I think the fronts only come in one size and I don't remember the size anyways.

They lock from both sides on the rear and I think one on the front. I'm not sure on the fronts though. They were pretty expensive at around 150 a peice.

i am saving up for a set. They are really good wheels. Some people say that they are not very good cause they break and stuff but that was one set of them that they had subed-out by a crappy carbon fiber maker. They make it themsleves now and they are alot better......;) :)

I know, I know its not a 400ex...but thought you may want to see the pictures. I'm VERY happy with my HiPers and they have great customer service; I did have one minor problem, the packet of bolts opened up, and one of them got damaged during shipping (ding in the threads) so called HiPer, and they said they would send one out asap, which they did. They even wanted the damaged bolt back (paid for ups to pick it up) because they wanted to examine it and see what was up...even though I told them it was most likely caused from being damaged during shipping. They really care about their customers!

I have had plenty of experience with hipers. I bought them soon after they came out. They will break, but, there was a 2 inch crack on the inside of the front wheel. It never leaked air though. When I ordered a warranty replacement part, they ended up sending me three new parts over the next month for no reason. Now I have 2 inside halves of wheels laying around waiting for me to break another. I also clipped a tree and broke the ring on one side of the front. They sent me one of those for free, no questions asked. The last time that I changed my front tires one of the treaded inserts came out, and I couldn't get it back in, and I found that one of the outside halves of the wheel had a small crack in it. They sent me the updated version (TEC2) of these broken wheels for FREE, but they charged me for shipping. My warranty is expired now, but I have stronger wheels than what I originally bought. And for all of this hassle, I have only spent $20 for shipping.
