front rims

Which rims would be best for trail riding or hare scrambles. I have the ITP .190 but it is so wide that in some areas I can't fit through trees whils others can. I probably would like narrow rims but i'm not sure any info would help.

Your probably not really going to find any narrower rims, unless your rims are offset wider than stock. Maby an inch or 2 at most, it's pretty hard to get things skinnier than stock.
