How much would this run? I pretty much have the quad down to the frame so I was curious... cuz my frame cant be powdercoated if im correct.. What all could be powdercoated on my Dale if anything? Also does anyone know of any chrome colored high temp paint so I could paint my head pipe?

They were sayin it might mess with the strength of the aluminum, becuase it is heat treated in the first place and then it would funk it up becuase you are heating it to like 400 degrees.

I sent mine to a guy on here and it was very reasonable to get done with chrome ceramic. You can see pics at link below.

the cdale frame CAN be ANODIZED but......no one seems to wanna come clean with wether or not the chemical (not heat) process will affect the heat treatment on the frame.....and also the frame has steel inserts where various nuts and bolts attach parts to the frame. these inserts cant be anodized and from what ive seen are a real b!tch to try and remove and or replace.

Wow, that kinda sucks then... So basicly, its not a good idea or feasible to "color" the C-Dale frame...

I dont know that 400 F would permantely damage anything.. Obviously it will expand at temp, then contract at RT. But why would it hurt anything?

Yes you can powdercoat them. I know pappy posted a pic recently of a swingarm for haydug and it looked nice.

Color on the frame would be nice but you can easily keep it nice looking with 0000 steel wool.
