chain clink noise

any one ever had a problem with the rub plate(i guess thats what its called) comming off on a ride and vanishing in the woods somewhere.. and now have a anoying chain noise??? in the book it listes for like 30 bucks.. its made of rubber and isnt held on very well .. i have a mud flap from a tractor trailer im going to cut it and make one for free... anyone ever done this or something similar?? :confused:

i think mine is loose or gone cause mine makes a wierd noise too

i dont have a pic of the peice cause i lost it.. but i know its a thin rubber peice that goes on the stock skidplate/chain guide..

It happens.. Just epoxy the piece mud flap you have and it should be fine:)
