MY friend just got his LT250R rebuilt. And were wondering how we should brake it in. Now i know ur not sappost to go WOT until 10 hours. Now is that the only thing we should do...? or should we go 3 hours at 1/3 throttle tops, then 6 hours at 2/3 then when we reach 10 hours we can pin it. Let us know..... thanx

the best way to break in a 2-stroke is to just BAG ON IT! :rolleyes:

It never hurts to take longer to break it in, so if he's worried about it just tell him to take his time, if he takes 20 hours its better then blowing it up... But what you said sounds good :D

iv heard a lot of methods but i heard of just riding it hard for 30 min then let it cool down for 15 min and then so on till you feel its ready. I think weisico sight tells you how to break in

yeah, do a couple of heat cycles and let her rip

its hard as hell to ride a 2 stroke and not go wot if you are used to riding 2 strokes.. .
