im gettin +2 a arms and new shocks. im on a budget and i need some advice on shocks. i want something alot better than stock. im also a big guy 6'5 265 i dont know if that will have anything to do with it. can any one valve shocks for my size. id loke to stay round $500. any help greatly appreciated in advance

I would save alittle more money and get TCS shocks.

6-700....... if u want good shocks for that price look on ebay...... or get elkas w/o rezzys or get Works..... those are ur only options for your prce range

go with works there good shocks and are a lot better than stockers, the riding weight on a 400ex is around 220 so getting aftermarket shocks valved for you and your riding style will improve your ride drastically. some people think low of works shocks cause you can get a pair fairly cheap but IMO they are very good shocks especially if your on a budget..try to save a lil more to get the best works shocks cause the better the shocks the better your ride and riding..goodluck
