i was wondering about that i need them to hold up to some abuse so maybe they might not work well for me

the rims are plenty strong....they probably would crack under extreme racing conditions, but i gotta tell you, if you hit the things i have hit with these rims on a .190, you would have bought new .190's a couple times.

they are very strong and bend resistant, they just dont have the flex that a race wheel does, and they are forged then machined, so they will crack before they will bend.

250rpilot-
What's the weight difference between the .190's and the C series?

they are probably 1.5 times the weight of a .190, but in my opinion from riding in the PA rocks, definately worth it.

They look great and I had a set but sold them when I read the label on the rim that stated " For recreaation use only not for competition". That scared me off of them. I don't do much "competition" riding but I manage my fair share of abuse. It was hard to part with them because the do look so good. I'd appreciate an update after some hours have been put on them to see how they hold up. Thanks and good luck :)

Im thinkin where normal spun aluminum wheels will bend around the edges from rocks, these wheels will crack and chunks will break off.

this is a c-series after hitting a concrete foundation in fourth gear WFO on my r. i will never bad mouth the strength of these wheels.
i did have to replace the tire, no other damage at all!

clipping cement and repeatedly hitting big jumps are very different, i have seen them break at a local track and the kid wasn't getting that much air :ermm: maybe the kid had a bad pair though  that was just my experience with those

i agree, jumping is harder on the wheels...but if you saw how hard it hit this concrete, you would be amazed. i am surprised that it didnt break, and my leg still hurts from flying through the air about 25 ft.
