Riding with a twist throttle on a quad is just plain dangerous.

Im really thinking about getting a twist throttle. My hand cramps so bad that it hurts. I can race about 3 laps and then it starts to kill. A Twist throttle is definately a future mod......What brand is the best.....I know they can be dangerous so I want the best.

At first its just alittle dificult to make left hand turns, but you do get used to it. It allso helps if you have rode dirt bikes...

It's really all about personal preference. Try a search, many threads have been done on this subject.

Some people hate them, some people love them. Personally, I tried it and hated it, but some of my buddies won't ride anything but twist.

I really don't think a twist is "dangerous" at all...

i had never ridden a dirt bike or anything else with a twist throttle ever before and i bought mine. my dad said i'd hate it but when i got it here i put it on and rode it. i can ride wheelies 4EVER with them. dad said that's the one thing i wouldn't be able to do at all. HE HATES THEM. my mom rode it the other day and ran off the trail. i dunno y but i just fell in love with it.:macho
