This was about an hour ago, I live in Joliet IL, RIGHT next to Plainfield IL (those that may remeber the F5 twister that devistated Plainfield in 1990) Actually, these pics are from over Plainfield. These pics are over a period of about 15 minutes....;)


5 minutes prior to this pic, it was sunny out!!!:eek2:

Possible funnel cloud, Doppler said this was massive rotation in this storm:eek2:

thats so awesome , not that people stuff gets ruined but i just fine thunder storms and tornados so interesting and awesome

wow...i live in millbrook illinois.......lemme just say, story time....i had been listening to scanner....heard tornadoes touch down around here(leland)....started worrying....little later, still watching weather, get call from friends mom"might wanna go to basement now" "ok thanks...." i put down the phone and look outside....to my suprise i see this huge swirling thing above the house across from my house!!!!:confused2 i nearly shat myself....i headed for the basement....luckily, we just had some rain and swirling clouds, no tornadoes..........i shoudla gotten the swirling clouds on video tape....i kept hearing them setting off the tornado sirens for counties around us,...then us.....hope anyone in the storms path is ok...

Yeah, I actually thought you would be on top of this Blazing....how far is Millbrook from Joliet???

hmmm...not to sure.....mom says about 1 hour north....i am in Kendall County(meaning Plano, Newark, Yorkville, Sandwich, etc).....i mean it was the first time(and hopefully the last) that i ever saw a rotation - funnel like cloud in the sky....

Yeah, Blazing...you're about 40 miles northwest of me!:cool: Nothing has touched to cause damage....but something possibly did touch a few miles from here:eek2:

i live by elburn about 30 min from you blazing and i was on the bus and all the fields had funnel clouds of dust it was crazy

where do u live juggalo? i hate this weather...i mean i know it, everytime we have a nice day and then rain, i KNOW thunderstorms or tornadoes are coming.........o well its better than most parts of the country....
