View Full Version : The reason I sold my 400........ (Large Pictures)

Hey gang, it has been a while since I last posted on here but I have been hard at work on my other baby and finally have got her done! Some of you may remember that I sold my 400 a while back and was going to sink the money into my R6 and this is the result. I am really pleased with it and have got just as much fun out of it as I did my quad. I miss it sometimes but I still have my Rancher to get me back in the hills. Let me know what you think of the ol' girl!

i made a post when i saw your quad on ebay..... your quad was one of the coolest on here, not cuz it was all decked out, cuz it wasnt, but it was just very clean and unique lookin. your's and wired's 400 were some of my favorites:)

Stupid question but how is it illegal....I can inspect cars but not bikes...:confused:

hey i dont know if you noticed but a theres not head lights or nothin, so i was just wonderin is it brian i wanna see how dumb a question it was??

Yea....after I posted that I saw there was no headlight or Tailight...so I feel dumb. :confused2

Well the only thing that is illegal about it is that it does not have front turn signals. The headlights are still on it, you just have to pop the front number plate cover off and there they are for night riding. I have some really small mirrors on the inside of the fender well that I use for that. I think it is pretty street legal, I am sure if a cop wanted to be a D!CK about it then he could write me a ticket for something.

oh yea, a while back you made a post called "the book of the month club" or something and you posted a book in it called "the book of nod" and i went to borders and i couldnt find it? where did you get your copy from? thanks alot dude. later....

Awesome Bike man i wish that i had a street bike:( but anyways i think that thing would look really sweet with chrme wheels or maybe, get the stock ones painted white, that's really set it off u think:bandit:

I got mad respect for you street bike racers. You guys dice like crazy, instead of taking 5 laps to pass one guy, you pass the same guy like 5 times a lap and fight tooth and nail. Nice ride.

Well I would have but my dad bought me the Rancher and I did not want to sale it because of that. I rarely ever rode my 400 any more because I had to drive 1 hour one way to ever ride and that was too much. So now I just have me a really nice toy for the street!

If you ever get tired of crotch rocketing, stuff that R6 motor in a quad. You also might need an extended swing arm to keep the fron end on the ground.:D

1st off i know nothing about streetbikes....so here goes ,wheres the kick stand? i mean what if you got to get gas, go piss or both ? get your buddy to hold it ?(the bike):ermm: oh .....yeah sweet bike!

The kick stand is on the left side. It is hard to see in the pictures. I just have it on the bike stand for looks.
