I have an 86' 250r with a stem that has a slight bend. I want to get some fat bars, like Pro-tapers but I don't know if I should get and anti-vibe stem or just the clamps and another stock stem.

Could you feel the difference with an anti-vibe? I've never ridden a bike with one. I am considering it because sometimes after a long drag or straight away, my hands cramp up (I'm 35).

Right now I considering a chrome +1 lonestar anti-vibe.

Thanks,

I got the Anti-Vibe stem and like it a lot. Look at a Burgard or Arens and you can get them for around $250...

I ended up getting the chrome +1 lonestar for $250 with hicr bend pro-taper. What a difference! I have developed tendonitis and this helped out in my last outing. Usually after 4-5 hours I can't hold on anymore.

With the new stem/bars I was at 6 hours + when I blew my engine (darn I was riding that this hard) and still was feeling fresh and could have gone a few more hours.

The stem was definitly worth it.
