NJ Riders, Raceway park opening up 1 mile track

FWIW, there was an article in the Star Ledger today, it said Raceway park is opening up a 1 mile MXtrack to the public. $30 per day, Sat or Sun, 10AM to 6PM. Track will accomodate all skill levels. It also said this is a track that was previously used 5 or 6 times a year only for racing events.

that is a sweet track, i have never been on it, but i checked it out when i went to the truck drags

i heard the guys at my local dealer talking about it, and they said they were definately opening it u to quads....i hope they are right!

Yes they will allow quads. Thats what the whole article was about, nothing but quads. Sorry I wasn't more specific

All I know is that I hope it's not like there quad track they have now. That one sucks! It's the only place I rode where they told me to slow down or go home. It was a good place to burn up a set of turf tamers. Let us know if you go!

when i was over my gf's house on saturday, her older bro came home with a video taken of the new track at e-town.... let me tell you, boys, this track is AMAZING. chatsworth atv track it aint. it's supposed to be a mile long.

i'm gonna check it out for myself asap.

Yep, i checked out Raceway and thought it sucked, but i said to myself if that track over there were open then this place would be worth coming to. I can vaguely picture it in my head but it was the one with the bleachers and the tower in the middle right?
The future is starting to look better, that is as long as these places keep the fees to about 30 for a day pass and not 70 like Chattsworthless.:devil:

When I was there the track guys where rude, I felt like they just wanted my CASH!! I hope the rumor is true and there is some jumps not bumps. Let us know...

In the article it stated that some pro rider (forget his name, a local guy) was hitting 60ft jumps.

No kidding, I wonder who? Anyway that sounds good. We need this to happen in NJ. :D

Hey guys, me and Derno were at Raceway this past Saturday. Derno has been to Jack Frost and Rausch so he has more to compare the track to and he liked the track a lot. A put another pic up of that really cool step-up, those jumps on there are nice. There are 2 steep table tops in the back of the track that i will try to get pics of next time. But the NJ riders really need to get out and ride this track since everyone complains of no riding areas and the 2 times i have been at Raceway it has been pretty quiet.
