Does anyone know if someone makes a casesaver for the 400ex that will work with a 16 tooth sprocket? I realize it would be thin but some protection would be better than none.

yes, there is one made. i remember hearing about it but i can't remember the brand. try a search on here and see if you can find anything. i found the best thing to do was grind the factory one down a little bit. that is what i am doing right now. the chain may rub on it a little bit on deceleration but its nothing major. i have had good success with this setup for over a year.
