hey, my axle bearings should come soon, so where do i put grease, how much, and what kind????????????

I always opened up the bearings and filled them full of white lithium grease. They only come from the factory with enough grease to keep them from rusting.

then do i just put the bearings in and some grease then the seals??

I grease the spacer inside and out, and the inside of the carrier. This will cut down on corrision and should make disassembly easier next time around.

It is a good idea to add grease to the new bearings like GNCC says.

Think of it this way: If you don't want dirt and corrosion in that space then put plenty of grease in that space.

ummm, sorry this might be a stupid question, but that white lithium grease is it the kind that is in a bottle that sprays? Also will just wheel bearing be good in the carrier, just got the bearings yesterday.:D

No, not the aerosol grease!!!:eek: The grease that I use comes in a tube. It is just really sticky!

You should be able too. The stuff that I use is made by pennzoil.
