I was looking at a cr80 and a yz80, which one do you guys think is a better all around trail/track/top speed bike? Are the rm and kx 80's better? Also, i was wondering if you could use 125 or 250 forks and the swing arm on the 80?

If your getting brand new, get an CR85, those things are just that much more powerful. Its ahrd to beleive, but they are. I had a YZ80 when I was 12, and holy crap did that thing FLY! It would wheelie through all the gears when your not even trying. But she was bored out and all that good stuff :D

Thanks guys! Seems like the cr80 is a nice bike. So does anyone think a cr125 or cr250 forks and swingarm would fit on that bike?

KX100's are just retarded, they are inbetween an 80 and a 125. If your gunna get a 100 get a 125- they are way better.

they say that the 2003 YZ85 is the best expert bike and the KX85 is the best beginner bike. i would get a YZ85:devil: those things rip

Yeah, OK:rolleyes: What happens when you arent tall enough for a 125, want a fast trail/desert bike ? Would you get a 2 stroke 80 intead of a 2 stroke 100 ? Sure 125's are better but I am happy with my 100 and cant quite fit on a 125 so I think kx100's are not retarded but we all have our own views:rolleyes:

I dont think they will and it might be a wierd feeling when riding. Cr and YZ80's are both good bikes. Just personal preference.

Alright, thanks guys. Hopefully i will have enough money and just get a quad. I was just curious about the 80's because they are cheap and fun little bikes! But hopefuly i will have enough money for a quad!

Yz 85 is overall a more powerful bike, but i believe its heavier and dont handle spot on like the CR, also the CR is red, but the Cr 85 expert is a tad bigger and should be a good bike, go check em out at the dealer

Dude, if you're to big for a 80 class bike, go w/ a 125. IMO, the absolute best 125 bikes out there are the YZ 250F and KTM SX125. The Honda's seem to have weird, unpredictable powerbands while the power curve on the KTM 125 and 250F's are more smooth. All KX's seem to have a pretty narly powerband too. Even their little 60's had a hard hitting power band that would wheelie pretty good w/ me riding it.

Here's my 250F before I got the rest of my numbers on there.. I'm actually #271...
