the only advice i have to offer is you goin to have to learn how to ride it like a 2 smoke or get rid of the cam cause it sucks at low rpms and i have no clue what your miss is other than you don't have your cam timed right which could also be why you loss so much bottom end

Three things:
1) Cam timing may be a tooth off.
2) Need to bump compression up. Longer duration cam (valves stay open longer) means less time for the piston to build compression on the up stroke.
3) Jetting. You may be lean since you're flowing more air.

I would bet that it is the jetting.

i dont know about you guys but i lost no bottom end when i put my motor back together.

did you bump up your compression and bore???

i gained power ALL over, especially up top.

It has a JE 11:1 416 piston in it. it exactly like a 2 stroke. The timing is fine and jetting is good. I guess i will pull it out and put back in my xr cam. I dont want it to run like a R, That's my next build up. For the third time.:D

I wouldn't just give up on the hotcams yet. I also have the stage II and lost no bottom end. I also put the new piston in at the same time. Mid-high hits waaaaaay harder. Bottom end is the same. You must have another issue. I'd tear it appart and double check everything.

I play with the jetting this weekend. Currenlty its at 42 pilot, K&N needle 3rd notch from top and main jet is a 158. Should i raise or lower the needle to lean it out. I got a feeling it is running rich.

speaking off, you said you have a k&n needle, are you using the dj jets or the regular khein, i have been told by several people that you can't mix and match, i dunno if there in any truth to that, it's just what i have been told

Don't change the cam yet. It sounds like the cam timing. DOUBLE CHECK IT!!
My jetting is
155 stock main
3 notch stock needle
42 pilot

It should rip!

Im using Keihn jets with the needle with it. The miss is only at quarter throttle. Maybe i need to adjust my Air / fuel mixture screw. It really rips at 3/4 to full throttle.

I only noticed a slight loss in low-end when I did mine. I'd say you've got another problem.
