What color frames do you guys have?

Hey I was just wondering what color frame you guys have that have had it powdercoated? I would post a poll, but i dont know how...

I got mine poweder coated by honda about 6 months ago... silver:D If I did get it re-powdercoated, I would go with red (I have yellow plastic)

I'm not sure but I don't believe honda's paint is powdercoat.... I think its something cheaper.

I've been thinking about getting my 400EX powercoated here but I've head it was really expensive to get done. Is this true or not?

Im pretty sure that honda powdercoats, just not as good of a grade. I could be wrong, but that is what I have heard.

I had a good Harley shop powdercoat mine metallic charchol,
had Honda pay the bill. It had to be inspected by a Honda rep first though. My paint was flaking off real bad. The harley shop where i got it done at did such a good job putting on the powder coat, its so thick that i cant read my SS#. Got my frame, oil tank, a-arms done, it cost Honda $400.00 and they tore it down and put it back together.

my old 400ex was a light blue metallic with yellow plastic
and my 250r is red with white plastic....

i was thinking of a black frame with white plastic kinda like this one http://www.crashers.com/400ex/white4.jpg but instead of black side pannels and the pieces around the head lights i was gonna order carbon fiber ones from www.feathercarbon.com but i need to get a price on it

Well,seeing that my 440ex has aluminum Cannondale Frame,I just got it polished to a chrome like finish,but on my Race bike,with the Titanium frame, I got it painted metallic blue, and my stock 400ex frame has a wood grain paint job.

lol, and are you just being funny with your sig or did you actually do all that stuff in the last week?

I was thinking I would do a black frame, chrome a-arms and swingarm, and then when i get some more cash some black fullbore plastic. and oh yeah, I dont ride woods or anything close to it, just sand, so im not all that worried about the chrome as long as i take good care of it.

sounds good to me, how does it sound to you guys?

i thikn that would look very kool... get a chrome steering stem and if u can some of those chrome works shocks.... and u will have the nicest 400ex on the site...

Mine is Candy Blue, its a really cool deep metallic blue. I like it alot with my white and my orange plastic.

I spray painted mine black (spray paint....eeeeww) Yeah, up close it looks nasty, but when I am riding everyone says it looks sweet, If I were to do it again, I would have made it red gloss. Once I get a new bike I will do something to the equivilant of crhye250r.

I would have had it done awhile ago if I didn't have to wait on all different parts. What I have left is my sur-loc axle nut (waiting for UPS to bring it), my motor mounts and throttle cover (waiting to get it back from the chromer), my chain (waiting for the dealership to get my new one because they gave me the wrong size the first time), rear tires need to be grooved, and I need to mold a piece of plastic into were my headlights used to be.

yeah i just painted my blaster frame red with the blue plastics like nacs said he wanted to do. i havnt put it back together yet but ill let ya know how it looks.

Thanks HOTT440ex. Yah thats my quad I had in this one dream. It looked exactly like that, so I guess God is gonna give me a great job at Honda, and I will get all that stuff. Honda is already asking my to work there,but I am 15,and don't have a ride there yet,but when I do,I will love it.
