anyone ever change front wheel bearing

Has anyone ever changed their fron wheel bearing on a stock 400EX front wheel. If so how much work is in it.

Get a good manual and you should be able to do it if you're at all mechanically inclined...

If there is just a little play, it isn't alot of work. If the bearings are junk, It can be a royal pain in the arse!

I found it to be pretty easy. Just takes some time. Watch so you do not bend the disc. I put a little bend in one of mine. Now I have to buy a new disc. Also do not over tighten the hub nut. Now if you want to tackle something hard, try the bearing inside of the a arms. Now that's a B****! 3 hours on just one side of the quad!

btw-the shop manual didn't tell me a darn thing other than the torque specs.
