I do not think that is a raptor, there is clearly 2 headlights set in the plastic near where the 400ex has them, Good eye!now I do not know if that is the the new 450, but odds are it is ! on second thought I just looked at the accecerois page and it could just be a raptor with the aux lights listed sorry for the false alarm:(

I think it could be. Why not let the new quads design take after the raptor? Raptors are eye catching quads. They look nice and sporty. But who knows

I think you might be the first to have spotted it Fred . I have been talking to someone that is pretty high up in the ATV industry and here is what this person has told me . The bike is going to be a 450 , but it is not the YZF motor . It is comming out of the WR . The frame is almost indentical to the Raptor frame , but has been tweaked just a little and doesn't seem to look too strong . As for the styling , it looks similar to the Raptor , but doesnt have the slotted grill like that on the Raptor . It is going to be a smooth grill. This info comes from a very reliable source , and at this moment I will be willing to bet everything I have that the above mentioned is what the new 450 will look like . This is how positive and reliable my source is .

now that i got the mag out that shows the predator 90 the picture looks like a blue one with a new bumper and the fenders maybe cut a little, it even has a little glair(sp) where the polaris symbol would be behind the bumper, the shocks are in the same place and the lights are too

the quad should be released tuesday....yes its a 450....barry hawk helped design it and according to him it is fast and will out handle any stock quad and felt comparable to his leager:) it will have rezzied front shocks.....and a few other lil surprises.

OK here is my opinion , why would yamaha put thier new quad in a pic with all these lil quads? Why not release a pic with a banshee in it or at least a raptor os something. Second of all i think it looks pretty stupid looking if you ask me. And if you guys look close enough you can see the raptor lights in back of the bumper . :eek2: Ryan

That isn't the first time I've seen an offical Yamaha picture with a mini and a larger full sized atv in the background. (Just look at the brochures or their website.) Also, the picture that this unknown quad came from has a Green Breeze and Raptor 80. In the 2003 Yamaha Utility ATV Brochure, it featured a Green Breeze with almost identical rider on it (Younger chick with a helmet and sun-galsses.) The picture that everybody's talking about may just be an old picture that got recycled. But, Hell, it's anybody's game, that may just be the new machine.

thing looks WICKED and BEASTLY. i would sell my banshee and take out a loan in a heartbeat to get this sweet thing....has a similar look to the raptor though, but the frame looks sorta like a banshee frame when you do the special view thing through the website about the technology of the quad. only 350lbs...lightest 4-stroke real sport quad, and by real i mean 400cc's and up. but it's $6899....a little out of my price range...:( :(
