I am getting orange Maiers and a blue graphics for it.
The kicker will go on when I get the extension.
As for Gibson products, there is nothing wrong with it, it uses the parts a LOBO II, Gibson just made the bend a little different so Roll won't get pissed.
How it all works?? I don't know yet, barley got it out of first gear.
Need to see how it goes on a track first.

I choose the KTM because I like something different, plus I have the options to go bigger. 470, 500, 510, 540, 570 and up to 612.
Also I like the 6 speed tranny and the fun button (e-start)
1st gear is about the same speed as 2nd on a EX, so it is like having a 7 speed EX!! Top speed is unreal!! I can't make any claims yet on how wonderfull it is on a track, may be if you guys turn my arm enough I'll go to Paisley, better take a drool wipy!! HaHa!

yup that is us... We got a different one now though, green instead of the organe... but we only use the unimog to go to gopher dunes becuase it is not that far of a drive...

Ya you have to go to paisley, if banks just got his 450 put in, he will tear it apart after you beat him, and will probably buy the ktm engine:D ...

are you say it is going to be rocky?? my sister wants to go to gopher dunes with the z on sat... but that ain't gonna happen... just come out to my place?? i found another track near by that we can ride for free, the little kid races a lt 80 on the tracks, #2 in ontario, he is fast... it is an awsome track, real twisty... not huge jumps but some, you will be able to crank her open in some spots... just give me a call or pm or e-mail if you plan on coming so i now not to rip my ex apart and play with the jetting..

HAHAH . Yes the joys of being here in Canada , no CC limit. I really think that should be changed though. Maybe run classes up to 440cc and another class for 440cc and up . Right now , unless you got BIG bucks , you really can't compete against machines like Banks has and new quads like Thomas' . Theres not really a point in buying a $15 000 265r when you have to run against Big Bore Raptors and stuff , cuz no matter how much you spend , it'll never out pull a bike like Thomas' or Banks. Just my 0.02

Cadman bought a roll design power valve 265r. it is a ducan built motor... and it haul ***, he is up there with banks and Justin... the only problem is that he always get dnf's, something always goes wrong with his bike... last time he was right on justin's heal and something when wrong... if i would of spent 25 000+ for the roll/ 265 i would of built a hybird quad like Thomas or Banks, that way i know it will make it through the moto.

its a ktm 400 engine with a 520 cylinder. Cadmans bike isn't all that powerful. the other R's with the 330 and 310's are the really fast ones. bike is 5%. i think a modified 400ex with suspension and moter mods could hold its own against alot of these things. you just gotta have a little more skill then the other guy. Bank doesn't win races jusst cause hes got a pimped raptor and 426. hes a good rider. I think he needs to work on his tacnical tracks tho. like gopher where there is mad braking bumps ect. cause as soon as a track gets beat up and technical petker is nipping at his heals or out infront.

Forum, Fleshwound or Thomas if you read this before tomorrows race at Paisley, i doubt i will make it becuase my dad just got the flu, or food poison, but he is just trebbly sick(unusual for him) so i don't think i will make it becuase i don't have a ride( i can't drive my self yet either, plus who will sign for me i am not 18 yet)... i am mad tho becuase i was really looking forward to racing this weekend, but i have let my dad rest becuase he has to work this week at Sifto salt in Goderich on one of their Volvo loaders (uner ground)... unless some maricle happens i won't be there:( :( , but i might go to gopher with a buddy, so thomas if you are there, i will meet up with ya, i want to check this bad boy out...

HP?? It dynod 50HP on a dynojet in the dirtbike with 35ft\lb, that was not bad.
Did some mods, Akrapovic headers, TC can, flowed the head and bumped the compression to 12:1, so it might have 55??
I guess I will find out tomorrow how it compares to other bikes, we'll talk then.

it didn't cost 55,000. I will leave it to thomas to tell you the cost. I know it but its not my business to say. I didn't do so well. I like paisley i just don't feel comfortable there. i busted off the compression adjustment nob on my elkas at paisley on the holeshot, i rode the whole race with basically no oil left in the shock it was hard to ride like that...
i wish i didnt get piggy backs now, thats costin me $120 for a goddam nob...

I was there at the RAT track. Its a pretty weird track for quads considering its so skinny. Well the KTM is pretty sweet, except thats A LOT of cash. Its so LOUD, I LIKE IT:D I was gunna stop in and talk to you Forum, Fleshwound, and Thomas. But my buddy broke his leg. He was in 5th place in 125 beginner but he overshot the turn and flew about 10 feet in the air. So he bailed and broke his leg. So I had to help his mom and dad, so get his bike loaded and everything. He was taking away in the ambulance at about 12:00. So it was a pretty screwed up day. Who the guy on the raptor with the sparks pipe. He rides that track so well.... at least during practice. Probably just as fast as the dirtbikes.

he had bank held off for a while until he blew 2nd gear and cracked his cases...i think this is the third time it has happened

to me I have a pretty built 400ex and think it doesn't go fast enough. For racing, I wish I had a hybred quad.

these motors weren't really built for top speed drag racing, they were design to have arm pulling accerlation and torque through the power band... let me tell you that the yzf426 or the crf 450 have unbielevable amounts of torque and accleration to them, they will make you go faster around the track, if you have good chasis to with stand the stress, but also suspension... this isn't something you can put together within 2 days, it just won't work that way...
i decided to go with the crf 450 route, and this winter hope to have my a arms, shocks (elka or axis) swing arm and the other good stuff ... by spring time hopefully arens will have their frame released so i can have the frame sitting at my house and buy a motor and slowly put it togther, and i will still be able to race on my ex with the stock motor... once everything is put together on the frame and everything is set, i will remove everything on my ex and put it on the crf frame, and all the stock stuff goes back on and i will sell it... that way i don't spend tons of money in 2 months and rush the project, instead it is spread out evenly...

If I were you I would wait for Honda to come out with something. They are never behind the game. I'm sure they have worked and tested many things that we don't even know about. They just actually take their time, making the precise adjusts to make top quality performance machines. Think about the 400ex. It was years before they came out with it. And it had more retail sales then all of Yamaha's fourwheelers around 2000 and 2002. I know I get upset too, thinking when are they going to come out with something. But trust me it should be coming soon and is going to be awesome!!
