John informed me last night that they just did a test fit of a CRF450 motor into a prototype of their new CRF450 frame and that it fit great :) No other information right now but I will keep you posted.

Once they get the prototype done and how he wants it they should start making a bunch of them. Also Yamaha is releasing 2004 models next Wednesday so we will see...

I looked into my crystal ball, and it tells me that the new Yamaha-ha-ha-ha will be a decent motor with acceptable stock suspension in a chassis that wouldn't last a 30 minute moto at Muddy Creek.

I think you might just as well save your money for the Arens chassis.

maybe you should try and finish the quad you got before starting your next one.

I can't believe you would spend $1,250 then weld on it to fit a YZ426. If you don't already have a motor, why not get the CRF? It should be easier to put a YZ in the CRF Frame than it is a stock one...

Why do people freak out when you say the word "weld" and atv "frame" in the same sentence? You guys do know the frames are in fact welded already?:D

Yeah, Bubsy, but I'm sure you've seen SOME peoples' idea of "welding." LOL Some frames look like they were put together with JB Weld!

I wasn't freaking out, just more surprised you spend that kind of money to only modify it for something else. To each there own, but if the welder is good, shouldn't be any problems...
