I have a 400ex front end on my 300ex. I have used works triplerates with rezzies that were stock 300ex length. I have also used stock 400ex shocks with the reolcation bracket. The bracket looks disgusting, and the 300ex shocks are just to short. I need a measurement so i can get shocks custom made. All i need is length, becaue i can get a pretty good deal on custommade shocks. thanks

are there ANY bikes that come stock with 14.75 eye to eye shocks so i wouldn't have to pay for custom shocks BTW how much did those run you all?

Call up Works, talk to Sandy, he will hook you up, you need shocks that are 14.75" from eye to eye. Getting custom shocks built costs the same as teh regular ones, for dual rates w/o rezzies its 320. give them a call, you wont be dissapointed:)

Yep call Sandy at Works. That's who did mine. Also Banshee shocks may be 14.75" but they would be way too stiff because a Banshee weighs a lot more. You won't be dissapointed with this mod for the 300.

If i could find shocks off of any quad that were 14.75" long, it would be a lot easier, but i am saving up for shocks. How much would works shocks with rezzies cost?.

mine were $329 w/out rezzies. It seems to me they were like $50 to $75 more with rezzies. Don't quote me on that though. Make sure they know exactly what type of riding you do for the best result. BTW I wouldn't waste my money on rezzies unless you ride XC or MX or very long hard riding. Most riders won't overwork a good dual rate or triple rate shock. Good luck.
