Tightening Suspension on 300ex?

Tightening Suspension on 300ex? My brother has a 300ex, he was wondering how to tighten the front and rear suspension? He wants it one adjustment stuffer on the front, but how do you make the back the same? Do you have to use any tools on the front to change it? We have a some book we bought but it doesn't say for some reason.

well you can tighten the preload, which just compresses the shock spring a lil. When riding it just makes the quad sit a bit higher and maybe not lean as much in turns. to adjust the preload take a pipe wrench or something like it and turn the wierd lookin notchy thing at the bottom of the spring to the highest mark. On the back shock this thing is at the top of the shock for some odd reason.:scary:
