INFO on taking links of stock chain????

I am going to run a 14/36 gearing setup and was told i will have to cut links out of the chain... Does anyone know how many links and also will having to cut the chain and add a master link to the stock chain make it weak where it had to be spliced?? that is my main concern???

Since you're replacing the sprockets, I'd go ahead and spring for a new chain. Yours is at least two years old, you're probably ready for a new one anyway. Chains are extremely cheap when you consider that they are the main drive link for the entire quad.
