Repair Manual (which one?)

I’ve been looking for a repair manual for my 2001 300EX. I have found several available but am not sure which on is best. Can anyone give me some advice on which one to buy and where to get it?

Clymers is a very helpful manual for every part of your quad. I have seen them in Dennis Kirk and I'm sure any aftermarket supplier would be able to get you one for around 24.00. It will pay for itself very quickly.

I bought theHonda factory manual for my 400 but that was the only one available. It has been very helpful although it isn't very detailed. Mine cost fifty bucks so I'd go with Clymer.

I have the clymer. I bought it because it was cheaper and i wouldn't have to wait for it. Its kind of confusing though because it has the 250x and 300ex in it. If i had to do it again i would get the factory just so there isn't multiple years/models in it.

Just got my service manual in the mail. $44 from Helm. six day delivery

It's a OEM service manual for 2001-2002 250ex. 8 1/2 X 11 and 1" thick. Full of pictures, part numbers and diagrams. Seems to be pretty detailed.

Only problem is the quad runs perfect. Oh well the maintenance section will come in handy.

If it ain't broke don't fix won't apply to your quad. It could run great when it's fall apart from the inside out. Since your bike is new there is nothing to worry about but don't forget about routine maintenance.

I went to the Clymer website. They don't have a listing for a 400EX. Anyone know if they make one?

Clymer only make them for quads that have been for sale for many years. You may need to order the OEM.
