400ex carb on a 300ex???

can a 400ex carb fix and run right on a 300ex?? my friend is gettin a 300ex tomorrow and he wants to beat alot of people, so hes gonna do some stuff will this work

yes, but the intake won't be a "bolt on" FDO racing sells a machined aluminum adapter. You can call Mike at 740-967-1078
You will also have to do some jet work, but it makes a BIG difference.

i've got a 400ex carb on mine(bought the bike like it), didn't notice anything special to make it work. seems to have alot more response all around than my buddies 300. i kill him out of the hole but he's got a higher top speed :grr: . My bike seems to hit the rev limiter alot quicker too. think it just revs quicker
