Recon Question, sorry its not ex related.

Today my dad and I were ridin out in the woods behind my house and I noticed that there was a washer on his real axle sliding back and forth. We got back to the house and hammered it back in and so far its stayed in. It isnt the seal to the bearings is it? If I need to post more info just say so.
Just wondering if this is gonna hurt the quad in any way.

a friend i ride with has had the same problem. Its on the left side when you look at the back of the quad, right? Anyways, his has been coming lose and we'd pound it back in but i don't thinkits a problem. Just don't leave it out for a long time, especially with water crossings.

i had the same problem on my recon just pound it back in and caulk it to the swing arm this way if you ever need to get it back off just cut the caulk with a ravor blad, im 90% shur its the bearing seal
