400ex cam bearings, surface they sit on.

I was wondering if anyone has noticed a little wear at the place where the cam bearings rest on the alluminum. As if they have moved during operation. nothing much but you can tell they have had some motion.

i'm willing to bet those are just the machine lines from the factory, cause if memory servers me correctly mine had it to, i don't think its anything to worry about

My head isn't that old and when I went to change the cam,it had like glaze marks on it. It looks bad to me, but I don't know if this is normal or not.
