Im might be selling my 300 soon and i dont no what to get. My dad doesnt really want me to get a 400ex because there to slow buts that what i want. he wants me to get a z 400 or raptor or banshee or something. I dont no what to do.

If you really want the 400EX, get that. you can't go wrong with it. I know around here they are going for around 4200 OTD. For the $1000 plus you save on a Z400, you can get shocks, 416 kit, slip-on and have a Z killa!:macho :D

I would get a Kawi, I like the green and they run around the same price as the ex here. Maybe a couple hundred bucks difference top and you get much more power. I love my 400 but just wish it had some more damn power without having to dump another 2000 in it to get it all crazy....

yep, I can say that if I was in the market for a NEW quad right now, it would be the Z400 or the Kawi. After riding my buddies Kaw around, its just like a revised 400ex with a much better powerplant IMO. DOHC & liquid cooling is the wave of the future for 4 stroke motors...

but I would also have to strongly consider the used 400EX market and use the extra few thousand you save and invest it in suspension and motor mod's.
