Yeah, what he said. No offense, but there this question has been answered many times. Do a search, you will find alot of great information.

To answer your question real quick, it's all personal preference. Many people switch the thumb to a twist throttle. I went the other way, my 250r had a twist throttle when I bought it, and I switched it to a thumb...
