How much do you think i can get for my 300? its brand new 2002 not even a year old. i'm getting tires put on it and i'm putting the stock 88 250r hood back on. because once i sell it i'm buying a 400 and pimping that mofo out! so..anyway i was thinking along the lines of 4200 cuz then people start talking to down so i really don't wanna take lower then 3800 the oil has been changed every week or so. runs great. rides great no problems what so ever i just need a bigger bike. soo let me know what you guys think. or maybe if i could find someone who wants to downsize on bikes from a 400 to a 300 and it was in decent shape i would trade it. don't say its too much for the bike because its not even really a year old. so...thanks for all the help. :macho

3800 is a bit high. I've seen MINT 400ex's go for less. Honestly, with the 400ex used quad market growing, I'd say your closer to $2700-$3000.

I've seen 02 400ex's for 3400-4000 tange, and the most i have seen an 02 300ex go for is 3450

Kelly Blue Book, says that a 2002 Honda 300ex trade-in is worth $2,540 and resale value is $3,710. this is not what you'll always get but it's a good baseline to go by............

I would try selling all the aftermarket parts on ebay and try selling the quad for $3,000.

I dunno, seems pretty high to me. I sure am having a hell of a time trying to sell my god damn 400ex. Its better than showroom condition, and nobody around here will phone about it. I have only had two people come to look at it and they tried to jew me down to like $2500 US :eek2: . Stupid people, when they do that I start to raise the price on the *******s. But when they offer like a little lower I move a bit, but when I am asking a price, thats what I am asking. but hell I guess you cant blame them. But I have looked at every single 400ex for sale around here and they want big bucks for them, and they arent in as good of shape. They were all dirty when I looked at them, so cant people even clean their quads when people are coming to look at it???
