Took these pictures today at my neighbors. He has a very nice quad track and a new V-Force. The quad is stock right now, so it was pretty amazing to watch.
This first picture is on the second biggest jump on the track. It is probably about 80 feet long from launch to touchdown. The landing is a huge ski-slope type landing. He was getting about 14 feet of air off it. It does not look that high from this angle because I am at the bottom of the landing.
I didn't jump the big jumps, but I hit many of the others.

Here is one from another angle...

This is a shot of a pretty awesome uphill jump. It is a do or die jump that has trees and stumps in the gap. I made it on my 400EX, but it was rush the first time. After that it was easy and fun. The landing is really smooth if you don't jump too high on it.

That uphill jumps looks fun - I don't know why but I like trying to jump over some sort of "peril"....

The 700 lands really smoothly, and I didn't see him bottom out once!

He does break a lot of stuff though. He has a DS650, and has broken many parts on it.

This table jump used to be a double with a pond in the bottom, but he filled it in :(

This is the downside of a small double jump right before you hit the big uphill jump. Right before this double is a small table top. So the rythm is Table, double, big jump uphill. It is a lot of fun. But the very first time I hit the rythm, I missed it and cased the landing on this double. I slammed really hard but didn't crash. I didn't want to overshoot, and land on flat ground right before the takeoff of the uphill. So, I hit it too slow and cased it really hard.

I call these acid drops. Basically he is just riding off the edge of a hill and landing a little ways down the hill. This sends you right into that big table top jump that used to be a double with a pond in the middle.

Here is a short 480k mpeg video of the jump. It got cut short at the end (lame camera, not operator :) )

Here is a longer 1343kb mpeg of my friend Josh following the 700 on his 400EX. The video shows a little bit more of the track and launching off one of the uphill jumps. Next time, I am bringing a real video camera! My Sony digital camera takes too short of clips.

You will probably have to right click the link and save the movie to play it.

I just got my Dirt Wheels today. Rocky made the cover and got several pages inside.

Pretty cool. It is neat to see a local person in a national media like that.

He was in ATV Sport too with his YFZ and Grizzly.

He sells bar risers and wind guards for the handlebars on his website at www.roxspeedfx.com (http://www.roxspeedfx.com) I have a set of the first edition windguards on my Banshee. Almost all of my friends have them and the bar risers too. The risers help get you into the attack position and you can mount up fat bars with them if you need to.

As you can tell by the amount of post I have made that I usually just read what other people have wrote. However, that track is so cool looking that I just had to post. Also I have heard that the 700 was to big to jump far. Well your buddy just proved everyone wrong because he was airing that thing out. Nice pics and vids. Thanks.

That looks like so much fun.. I was talking to my dad yesterday about how cool it would be to just look out your backyard or just go in your own backyard with a badass track. I live in Southern CA, and there is no room for that here!
